Broadmeadow Neighborhood Association will host its annual Fabulous Food & Art Festival at Broadmeadow United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 10th, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The tradition continues with neighbors coming together for good food and socializing. Every home-cooked dish prepared and donated by neighbors, helps raise money for upcoming BNA events.
This is a super-duper bake sale with casseroles, appetizers, and baked goods including soup, tasty sweet potato biscuits and corn pudding. Casseroles and appetizers are frozen and ready for you to pop in the oven. Items are also available for pre-order (see www.topoffondren.com for complete pre-order menu), and delivery is available in Fondren.
In addition to the wonderful food for sale, there will also be art for you to peruse and purchase. Neighborhood artists like KC Williams, Rob Cooper, and Wendy Eddleman will have prints, paintings, glass works, and jewelry on display!
We are also thrilled to announce that Elise Winter, former First Lady of Mississippi, will be at the event between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. signing her book, “Dinner at the Mansion.” In honor of this exciting event, BNA will also offer the gift packages detailed below. Deadline for placing guaranteed delivery order is December 1st. Gift cards will be substituted for late orders after the supply runs out. This is a great way to say thank you to family, friends, clients, provide shelter and contribute to neighborhood revitalization in the Top of Fondren. Proceeds from the book go to Habitat for Humanity, baked goods are a fundraiser for BNA.
